The Handshakes Program

Handshakes connects children in grades K - 6 with high school students in the same community. Participants are hand selected by Guidance to participate in monthly meetings that include everything from career presentations to field trips and arts and crafts. By connecting children with social mentors, Handshakes provides an environment that encourages confidence, self expression and mutual respect.
